So if I understand it correctly you are running Windows 7 on your host and you want to run a linux guest using VMware Workstation.
You had it installed previously but have deleted the installation and now want to install it again.
Some questions:
What version of VMware Workstation are you trying to install?
Exactly what error do you get and when do you get it? (Screenshots are welcome)
Do you have a any antivirus installed? If so which one and what version?
When installing, did you try to right-click the installer and choose "Run as Administrator?
